Rest, Creativity, Good People, and You

The Mountain Retreat is a creative vacation that honours the needs of the mind, body and soul. It is designed for you to step back into the serenity of the mountains with some fascinating people to rediscover your story. Each Mountain Retreat is open to cohorts of 8 -12 professionals. The program fosters community, discussions, and self-reflection, as well as gleaning and learning from each other’s journeys and nature. The Retreat is curated by ‘Art for Change’, with over two decades of experience running artist residencies.

Why Mountain Retreat?

Retreat - Reframe - Renew

It is a known fact that our current professional pursuits starve our souls, suppress our creativity, strain our relationships, and drain us emotionally and even physically. However, deep inside, we long for a meaningful and joyful existence.

We humans love to inhabit narratives that give us a sense of identity and self-worth. These narratives shape our aspirations and provide a pathway forward to help us navigate our conflicts and opportunities.

But are our narratives disappointing us? Are they suppressing the truth? What if we could rediscover the truth and edit our stories with a renewed sense of identity and purpose? If you desire to rediscover and reframe your story to make it worth living and telling, the Mountain Retreat is for you.

Come embark on a transformative journey!

"If the point of life is the same as the point of a story, the point of life is character transformation." - Donald Miller

In the serenity of nature, you will find plenty of time to reflect, meditate and rediscover beauty that draws you to something richer to nurture your soul.

Connect With Nature & Yourself.

Besides the time for solitude the program fosters group connection, discussion, and reflection, to glean and learn from each other’s journeys.

Take time to be quiet, and be creative. Whether a collective work of land art, a painting, or a poem,  you will find yourself creating, from a place of rest.
