We spend our days pursuing goals that starve our soul, suppress our creativity, and strain our relationships. Deep down, we're not chasing accomplishments anymore. We're longing for love and meaning. And when the standard narrative of 'success' fails to bring it, it’s time to pause.
What if you could stop playing a supporting role in a story that drains you — and edit your reality into a Hero's Journey?
The Retreat
The Mountain Retreat is a creative retreat that honours the needs of mind, body, and soul. It's designed for you to step into the serenity of the mountains alongside a small community of fellow storytellers, to rediscover your story.
Each Mountain Retreat welcomes a cohort of 8–12 fellow travelers. The program fosters creativity, community, conversation, and self-reflection — as well as learning from nature and from each other's journeys.
The Retreat is curated by Art for Change, with over two decades of experience running transformative artist residencies.

In the serenity of nature, you will find plenty of time to reflect, meditate and uncover the fractures we carry within and around us.
Reexamine Yourself

The program fosters group connection, discussion, and reflection to glean and learn from one another’s journeys and fascinating stories.
Rediscover Community

Take time to be quiet and be creative. Whether a collective work of land art, a painting, or a poem, you will find yourself creating from a place of rest.
Restore Play

The Journey to the Mountains
Through curated nature walks and creative activities outdoors, there is much to spark a sense of wonder. To immerse in beauty that feeds our souls.
Recapture Wonder

The Kintsugi experience will guide us to behold the oncoming beauty through the fractures and rekindle love to mend the pieces into something more beautiful.
Rekindle Love

Great stories are transformative and can become a powerful, life-changing force. At the retreat, you will find opportunities to relook at your story for renewal.
